In the first step, we will prepare the Tandoori chicken

1. It is important to mix the marinade properly. Combine the yogurt with the tikka masala, ginger garlic paste, and lemon juice in a bowl. All of the ingredients should be mixed thoroughly until they are well blended.

2. In order to marinate the chicken, you will need to cut small cuts on the drumsticks of your chicken. If you do this, you will be able to get a deeper penetration of the marinade, making the chicken much more flavorful. When the marinade has been added to the chicken, make sure that each piece is evenly coated with the marinade.

3. Pour in the cooking oil, give it another mix, and then cover the bowl with a piece of cling film and allow it to rest for a while. For the best results, it is recommended that you let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least four hours, or even overnight.

4. Prepare your microwave oven for cooking by preheating it for 15 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

5. The chicken should be baked in the preheated oven on convection mode at 180°C by first placing a microwave grill stand in a dish, arranging marinated drumsticks on top, and baking them in the preheated oven on convection mode at 180°C. I usually bake my chicken for 45-50 minutes, flipping it halfway through to make sure that it is cooked evenly throughout.

Step 2: Making the Garlic Mint Butter Sauce

1. To melt the butter, you will need to place the butter and finely chopped garlic in a microwave-safe bowl. For 1 minute, microwave the butter and garlic in the bowl for just enough time for the butter to melt and the garlic to slightly cook.

2. As soon as the butter is ready, stir in lemon juice, chopped parsley, pink salt, and chopped mint leaves. All the ingredients should be mixed together until they are well combined.

3. After the chicken has been baked, brush generously with the garlic mint butter sauce to coat the drumsticks once they have finished baking. A layer of flavor is added to the dish at this point which makes it irresistible.

4. You can also enjoy this Tandoori Chicken with some Naan bread on the side. If you wish, you can serve the Tandoori Chicken hot, with some Naan bread on the side.
